When in use, a customer can add additional token/monies and an accumulating timer will add the amount of time onto the current cycle without shutting off. for example, if you set your vacuum at 1 minute per quarter (total sale amount of $1.00 for 4 minutes) a customer can input another quarter to extend the service for an additional minute without the unit stopping.
